As to avoid making my sales post huge and also be able to link this to people whenever they're curious, I'm writing a post about the Brazilian Figures that some of you have seen in people's collections (mine mostly xD).

Released about 10 years ago, these figures were made as a way to promote a drink named Guaraná (it's kind of like Coke, except it's not exactly Coke xD) that was going to be also sold in smaller bottles. Said bottles were called "Caçulinha" (a commom nickname for the youngest sibling), and were made for the kids to take to school and such. They're really small, and there is about one glass (if not less) of the drink in them.
The promotion consisted of having a Pokeball on the bottlecap, and inside there was a secret Pokemon figure. Not all of the first generation Pokemon got one made, but most did.
Later, when generation II came out, they did the promotion again, this time with the figures being of gen. II Pokemon. The material was also different, and even less Pokemon got figures of them made.
As all old merchandise, you may notice something funny about them, they have the same molds as many other figures (such as the stamps and the like). Some are really wonky, making them look a little bootleg-ish, though I assure you they're legit.
Later, as the promotion was not as successfull as they expected, they released those figures (the leftovers) as gashapon prizes. As well as some ones with different molds, that were already around by then (the bigger ones).
Those figures are still available nowadays as gashapon prizes in some rare places.

Hey guys.
I'm just really bored and so I figured I'd post. ._.;
Plus I wanted to show off the icon I made yesterday (out of boredom as well). xDDD If anyone reads this... What do you think of it? =D In case you didn't notice, it's the Poke stuff I collect. Caterpie, Dragonair, the Ralts line (mainly Gardevoir), Vaporeon, Espeon, Doduo, Omanyte, Lapras and Marina (why, yes, a human xD my collection of her is pathetic, though). Side collections don't count there. xD
Still waiting to see if I got that job that I both want and don't want. Me needs money, but does not want to work on that... thing. Ugh.

By the way. How come all I touch breaks or is destroyed in some weird way? Lately it hasn't been happening (not since last week), but it wouldn't make a difference if it did because I'm trying to sell my customs and no one cares, so if they were destroyed it'd be ok. xD I'm glad everyone likes that Caterpie sculpture I made, but could anyone at least mention what they think of the stuff I made to sell? ;-; My self confidence is underground already. I wonder if I should open commissions for sculptures like that Caterpie... Well, of course not, because then no one would want them either. Like my drawing commissions, my charms/pins/keychains commissions, and anything else I try to get some money. It appears that I'm destined to be broke forever. I checked my prices for all my commissions, and if they're not exactly as much as everyone else's, they're cheaper. So how come? Am I REALLY THAT BAD? Because if I am, I don't understand how I managed to pass with straight 'A's last semester in everything except ceramics, in which I got a 'B' (because I didn't answer the questions on the forum... Oopsie xD). I don't get how I even got into that university, actually. >.>

But ah well. I suppose it happens. I'll never have commissioners, and when I do, they won't ever pay me like last time. ._.;

So how are you guys doing? Someone please tell me some good news. .__.;

Okay, I died. I died, I really did. I'm dead. Right now. Me? Dead.
I made an animation in 3 days. xDDD Sure it's nothing big and amazing but THAT'S TOO MUCH FOR ME.

Okay I have a doubt and since you people who read my journal actually like Pokemon, I want YOU to help me decide! xD Though I'll be asking some friends out of LJ too so you never know the results of this for sure just by reading the comments. xDDD

Yesterday I made myself a Marina, Crystal, Kris, Dani, whatever the hell you feel like calling her, chibi styled sculpture. If you happen to have no frigging idea who that is, look at my icon. xD
My question is... I haven't painted her yet because I don't know which color scheme would look better. There's the game scheme, the anime scheme and the manga scheme. I don't really like black haired Marina (which happens to be called Crystal in the manga xD) so the manga color scheme is out of my list.
So! Which one do you guys think look better, the game or the anime colors?

The differences are mainly in the shorts, hat and hair color. And uh... her shoes. But the anime reference doesn't show you how they look so ignore that part. All you need to know is the shoes match the rest of the clothing, no matter what colors. xD


Just curious about what you guys think since I have no idea at all which one I like best and I only have one sculpture to paint. xDDD

When she's done I'll post a picture, promise. I just can't now because I lost my camera. xDDD


Edit: You guys know what's funny? I was looking at the references I gave you and realized that uh... Her hair is actually different in the game and in the anime. Not just the color, but the actual hair. ... And I made the anime one in my sculpture without even realizing they were different. Woo. xDDD
So that ends the discussion. I made anime-Marina without realizing it, and therefore it's anime-Marina color scheme that she'll get! Even though there was only one on-line vote and it was for game-Marina. xDDD But the good news is if I make anime-Marina I can make the boys too and since Juunichi, Vincent, whatever, doesn't really show up in the game, I wasn't gonna make him if I made her game version. xDDD
